Local Chapter Honor Award

 

Purpose:

To recognize all local chapters who have made significant contributions of service to the community and to the Society.

Procedure:

1. Each chapter will be awarded points for specific service.
2. Chapters earning 20 points during a one-year period will be awarded the Local Chapter Honor Award.
3. Points must be earned between September 1 of the previous year and September 1 of the year application is submitted to qualify for the current year’s award.
4. It is the chapter’s responsibility to record and accumulate points. New forms may be obtained from the ASORN office or website at any time.
5. Chapters will forward completed Local Chapter Honor Award form and chapter roster to ASORN Headquarters for consideration by Awards Committee. Form must be received at Headquarters by September 15 of the current year.

Award:

Award recipients will be presented with a certificate of recognition at ASORN’s Awards Ceremony and the chapter will be acknowledged in INSIGHT.
