Case #1 Intraocular Lens
History
Three months earlier, the patient had an uneventful intracapsular cataract extraction with placement of an anterior chamber lens. Initially, the visual acuity was good. Suddenly, following a fall, the patient experienced diplopia and some blurring of vision. After pupillary dilation, the intraocular lens was found to have moved upwards and the haptics were visible in the pupillary space.
