Case #3 Lid Laceration
History
This 2 1/2-year-old girl was bitten by her neighbor's dog on the day of admission. The local ophthalmologist noted a laceration of the upper and lower eyelids in the medial canthal area. The child is currently healthy and on no medications. She has had the usual childhood diseases and her immunization record is up-to-date.
