Directions
 From
the West - From I-80 go south on
I-380/US-218 to the Melrose Exit and turn left on Melrose Avenue.
You will encounter four stoplights, a bridge, and then another stoplight
at Hawkins Drive. Turn left (north) at Hawkins Drive; turn right (east)
at the first stoplight. You will see the Pomerantz Family Pavilion
ahead and to your right. The Eye Institute is located on the first
level.
From
the East - From I-80, go south at
Exit 242; continue south to Melrose Avenue. Turn left on Melrose Avenue.
After you turn, you will encounter two stoplights, a bridge, and another
stoplight at Hawkins Drive. Turn left (north) at Hawkins Drive, then
turn right (east) at the first stoplight. You will see the Pomerantz
Family Pavilion ahead and to your right. The Eye Institute is located
on the first level.
From
the South - From Highways 6 and 1,
turn north onto Riverside Drive. Turn left (west) onto Grand Avenue,
and at the top of the hill veer left then right onto Melrose Avenue.
Go two blocks (to the second stoplight) and turn right (north) on
Hawkins Drive. Turn right (east) at the first stoplight. You will
see the Pomerantz Family Pavilion ahead and to your right. The Eye
Institute is located on the first level.
Upon Arrival - Free
Parking Validation: Take your parking entrance ticket
or valet parking ticket to the clinic for free parking validation
when parking in hospital parking ramps or when utilizing the valet
service.
Valet Service: You may park your car under the canopy,
and the UI Valet Service will park and return your car for a $5 fee.
The valet will retrieve your car at the conclusion of your appointment
and meet you at the destination of your choice within the medical
center.
Parking Ramp: Alternatively, you may park in one
of the adjacent ramps. Ramp IV is located straight ahead from the
entrance of the Pomerantz Family Pavilion. You should not
use the Melrose Avenue entrance to Ramp IV. It is reserved for
patients seen in the Family Care Center. All others will be charged
a $10 fee.
