Support of the Ophthalmology Resident and Fellow Research Day
The 2004 Ophthalmology Resident and Fellow Research Day was held on Saturday, June 5, 2004 in the A. E. Braley Auditorium. Support for the program was recognized this year by the presentation of a plaque recognizing past and present supporters of the event. Resident/Fellow Research Day is supported by The University of Iowa Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Science Residents and Fellows Research Fund. This fund receives support from Alcon Pharmaceuticals and Research to Prevent Blindness. It is also supported by the William C. and Dortha Gaedke Chaitable Trust.

The plaque hangs on the wall of the A. E. Braley Auditorium and recognizes the supporters of Resident and Fellow Research Day. Dr. Beaver has been active in fundraising for this event and Dr. Kardon is the event's coordinator. Alcon Pharmaceuticals is a long-time supporter of the University of Iowa Resident and Fellow Research Fund. |
