| Dr. Jamie Coombs will be joining the Fitzhugh Vision Clinic in Twin Falls, Idaho in private practice. |
Dr. Reid Longmuir will remain with us at the UI Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences as a Neuro-Ophthalmology Fellow. |
Dr. Jeff Maassen will be staying fairly close to Iowa City as well. He is joining the Iowa Eye Center in Cedar Rapids. |
Dr. Erin O'Malley will be moving to Durham, North Carolina to do a Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus fellowship at Duke University. |
Dr. Erin Shriver will do an ASOPRS Oculoplastics Fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami. Dr. Shriver's husband, Dave, graduated this year from the UI School of Law. He will be working for a small corporate law firm in Fort Lauderdale. |

| Oculoplastics Fellow, Dr. Rich Allen will be returning to New Mexico and join the private practice group, Eye Associates of New Mexico, where he will practice oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. He will also work 10% time in the Division of Ophthalmology, Department of Surgery at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. |
Pediatric Ophthalmology & Adult Strabismus Fellow, Dr. Rahul Bhola will pursue an internship in Pediatrics at the University of Louisville, Kentucky followed by a residency in Ophthalmology there as well. |
Retina and Research Fellow, Dr. Mike Grassi will be an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Chicago. He will staff the Retina clinic 2 days per week and spend the remainder of his time performing basic science research in the Division of Human Genetics |
Retina Fellow, Dr. Judy Liu will join an all-retina practice in Phoenix, Arizona (Arizona Retinal Consultants). In the practice, she'll be joining with former Iowa graduates, Kean Oh, Donald Park and Scott Sneed. |
Retina fellow, Dr. Chet Patel will join the Cumberland Valley Retinal Consultants, a private practice retina group in Hagerstown, Maryland. He will be living in nearby Frederick, Maryland. |

| Cornea/External Disease Fellow, Dr. Sudeep Pramanik will be working with George Rosewasser, MD and Alan Robin, MD at the Central Pennsylvania Eye Institute in Hershey, PA. Starting next February, he will begin to teach courses on endothelial corneal transplantation in India. |
Neuro-ophthalmology fellow, Dr. Sandeep Randhawa, will be spending the next year doing a transitional year at Michigan, followed by an Ophthalmology residency at Seattle. |
Neuro-ophthalmology Fellow, Dr. Vinay Shah will be continuing his studies as an ophthalmology resident at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, Missouri. |
Glaucoma Fellow, Dr. Lesya Shuba, will be an Assistant Professor (Glaucoma) at the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia. |
