UI eye doctor treats man with rare worm in his eye

Local TV crews recently filmed Dr. James Folk and the story of a patient who had a worm in his eye. KCRG-TV9 and KGAN-Channel 2 aired the story that was also picked up by CNN and RadioIowa. The stories resulted from an episode of Animal Planet's "Monsters Inside Me," which featured the patient and Dr. Folk. The episode entitled "Shape Shifters" first aired on August 25th at 9 pm CST.
