Scleral tucked and glued secondary intraocular lens implant

This patient was aphakic after undergoing previous vitrectomy and lensectomy for an intraocular foreign body.  A secondary scleral tucked and glued posterior chamber intraocular lens (IOL) was later placed, as shown in this video.  When performing this technique, a thorough anterior vitrectomy should be performed prior to placement of the IOL if the patient is not already vitrectomized.
