Image Comments:

Photo 1 shows the lacerated upper eyelid involving the superior canaliculus. A Pigtail probe has been passed through the intact inferior punctum and exits the torn proximal end of the lacerated canaliculus within the wound.
Photo 2 shows the pigtail probe now within the distal end of the superior canaliculus. A silicone stent has been passed through the intact inferior canaliculus and now is seen within the wound.
Photo 3 shows closure of the lid skin after canalicular repair with silicone stenting has been completed.
