Choroidal malignant melanoma with orange pigment

Contributor: Jesse Vislisel, MD

Mildly elevated pigmented choroidal mass with orange pigment and adjacent subretinal fluid visible on optical coherence tomography (OCT).

The patient also had associated visual symptoms. These features are suggestive of choroidal malignant melanoma as opposed to benign pigmented lesions. Read the full case report for more information on choroidal malignant melanoma.
