Corneal Scar - prior pitch fork injury OS

Image Comments:

As a boy in Europe, the patient received a pitch fork injury to his left eye. In spite of no treatment other than home remedies, the patient suffered the ordeal and retained the blind eye. The eye in the photograph revealed an adherent leucoma, an absorbed lens, calcium in the scars, a displaced pupil, and a scleral scar at 2 o'clock just off the limbus with a small bit of incarcerated iris pigment. The eye was comfortable.
