The materials needed for an edrophonium (Tensilon, Enlon) test for myasthenia gravis are here pictured. Atropine may be used to prevent cardiac side effects of edrophonium. Serum can be sent for Acetylcholine Receptor antibodies.

Pupils were equal and reactive with a >3 log unit RAPD OD. Dilated funduscopic examination showed severe, diffuse optic atrophy OD and bow-tie (band) optic atrophy OS.
