This infant demonstrated vitamin A deficiency with acute keratomalacia. The infant was admitted immediately to the Kurji Holy Family Hospital as an acute emergency.Perforation of both corneas is an ever present threat without immediate treatment Treatment consisted of: intensive parenteral vitamins, cycloplegic drops OU, and antibiotic drops OU.
