Diagnosis: entropion - spastic - left lower lid

Image Comments:
Spastic entropion is evident in the photo by the rolling-in of the left lower lid and the rubbing of its lashes against OS. The diagnosis can be missed, since the entropion can be intermittent. To make the entropion evident, ask the patient to squeeze the lids together forcefully. In addition, instilling eye drops - not an anesthetic - into the conjunctival sac may bring out the entropion.
