" Lipodermoids are solid tumors usually found beneath the conjunctiva adjacent to the superior temporal quadrant of the globe. Unless these lesions enlarge dramatically, they should be observed without surgery, since excision may be complicated by ptosis, restricted ocular motility, or damage to the globe.
