This is a 7-year-old Afghani Male with congenital ptosis/Marcus Gun jaw-winking syndrome. It was in the late 1800's that Marcus Gunn first described a teenage girl with a very peculiar congenital ptosis in which the lid opened and "winked" with associated movement of the jaw.
The combination of photos in this 7-year-old Afghani Male demonstrates well the synkinetic jaw-winking phenomenon.
