Diagnosis: traumatic hyphema

Image Comments:
Traumatic hyphema occurs primarily in youthful males. The photo demonstrates a traumatic hyphema in an 8 year-old white male with no systemic diseases conducive to bleeding. The concentricity of the pupil suggests that no large iridodialysis will be found on subsequent gonioscopy.
