aupofccFour of our fellowships are AUPO FCC approved: Cornea, Glaucoma, Neuro-Ophthalmology, and Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus. AUPO FCC (Association of University Professors of Ophthalmology Fellowship Compliance Committee) was established in 2005 as a compliance system focused on uniform educational standards, protection of the public, protection of institutions, protection of trainees, accountability and enforcement. The compliance process is voluntary. Pediatric Ophthalmology and Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery were the first subspecialties to participate in the AUPO FCC system. Glaucoma and Neuro-Ophthalmology joined the list in 2006.
