University of Iowa Health Care Lions Club
Club History

The University of Iowa Health Care Lions Club was chartered on February 2, 1995. It was sponsored by the Iowa City, Iowa Host Lions Club, with future International Director (2002-2003), Lion Del Brown as our Guiding Lion. We currently have 27 members. Our club was formed to promote the Lions goal of "We Serve" within our own community of the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. We plan and conduct projects and activities to support patient and visitor-oriented programs within the hospital, demonstrating what we can do to better serve the health care community.
