Monthly soft contact lenses are a staple for anyone involved in prescribing contact lenses. The lenses should move a small amount with the blink, particularly on up gaze. A lens that moves excessively may be uncomfortable and may result in variable vision, but if the patient is happy with it, excessive movement is not a health problem.
