This intraocular lens (seen here in the anterior chamber) is a versatile lens that can be implanted in the anterior chamber or the posterior chamber. Originating in Holland, as the Worst lobster claw lens (invented by Dr Jan Worst), and commonly used in India for about 30 yearsyrs, it has now been rediscovered as a refractive intraocular lens (the Verisyse lens) and renamed for regular use as the artisan lens
