Plexiform neurofibroma

Plexiform neurofibromas are firm, rubbery lesions that may cause a typical S-shaped deformity of the upper eyelid. They are associated with neurofibromatosis type 1.

These lesions are circumscribed and contain spindle-shaped cells arranged in ribbons and cords.
