Winners:

Low individual score: There was a 3-way tie this year, between Lee Alward, Andrew Steffensmeier, and Chara. They split a dozen golf balls and movie tickets.

The Best Ball (Low Team Score) Prize goes to the team of Paula Wynn, Andrew Steffensmeier, Shah Shiaval (the Doris Duke Fellow working in the department this year), and Chara (his friend). They won a dozen Titleist Pro V-1 golf balls.

The Hi Score prize goes to Bo. She wins a bottle of Dr. Jacksons’ Really Amazing Putting Pills, to help her get ready for next year’s tournament.

The Best Dressed Golfer award goes (for the third year in a row!) to Susannah Quisling. The reward her for her hat trick, she wins a stylish red gold hat. Unfortunately, it clashes with her pink feather boa, but I am sure Reid will find a use for it!

Finally, the coveted People’s Choice Award for the most popular hole goes to Mia Boldt, for her Valentines Day Hole. Instead of using a putter, you rolled the ball down sections of PVC pipes to try to get it into the hole. While the hole design was clever, her entrepreneurial spirit may have gotten the best of her. The judges found that she was offering to take a stroke off the score of any golfer who voted for her hole. Therefore, the tournament director decided to award the prize to the second place design team, by Liz Bulgarelli, Gail Jons, and Keith Carter. For their hole, they made the Nurses Station waiting room pink by covering the walls with billing sheets. To imitate grass, the carpet was covered with green sheets. Their treacherous hole included obstacles, water, a sand trap, tunnels, and a mountain. For their efforts, they win a $50 gift certificate to the Coral Ridge Mall.
