Alex Cohen Nandini Gandhi Brock Roller Luke Wendel

Alex Cohen, MD, PhD is staying at UIHC to do a Fellowship in Cornea and External Diseases

Nandini G. Gandhi, MD will be continuing her studies with a Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology at Duke University

A. Brock Roller, MD will be staying at UIHC to do a two-year Retina Fellowship

Lucas J.A. Wendel, MD will complete a one-year Medical Retina Fellowship at UIHC

Yanjun “Judy” Chen, MD, PhD (Neuro-Ophthalmology) will be pursuing a second year Research Fellowship with Dr. Randy Kardon to continue her interests in pupil research

Alina Dumitrescu, MD (Pediatric Ophthalmology) will stay an additional year at UIHC as the Pediatric Genetics Fellow next year

Kori A. Elkins, MD (Retina) will enter private practice vitreoretinal surgery in a multispecialty practice called Tidewater Eye Centers, PC in Virginia Beach, Virginia

Matt Rauen Riz Somani Kirk Sturridge  
Matthew P. Rauen, MD (Cornea) is moving to Bettendorf, Iowa. He will be entering private practice in the Quad Cities at the Virdi Eye Clinic.

Rizwan Somani, MD (Retina) will be an assistant professor in Edmonton at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta , Canada 

Kirk A. Sturridge, MD (Glaucoma) will join a multi specialty private ophthalmology group, Eye Center South in Dothan, Alabama. His focus will be glaucoma and cataract.
