The COMS Grading Scheme: Graded Features

Subretinal Hemorrhage

Subretinal hemorrhages are dark or light red lesions, with overlying retinal vessels visible.  There is corresponding blockage on angiogram with preservation of retinal vascular details.  These hemorrhages have more sharply-defined borders compared with the irregular borders of retinal hemorrhages.
