New Director of Diagnostic Photography

Tracy Aly, CRA, COA, began work in September 2001, as the new Director of Diagnostic Photography in the Department of Ophthalmology. Before coming to the University of Iowa, Ms. Aly was the Director of Photography and Media Services at the Doheny Eye Institute, University of Southern California. She previously worked at Great Ormond Street Childrens Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. She is a Certified Retinal Angiographer

(CRA) and a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA). She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography, Film, and TV from the London College of Printing.

Paul Montague, formerly the head of photography in ophthalmology, will continue to be involved with special projects and software development for photography. This shift in duties allows him to concentrate on his computer programming and research development duties.
