*Dr. Caccamise has very generously shared his images of patients taken while operating during the "eye season" in rural India as well as those from his private practice during the 1960's and 1970's. Lentiglobus: a rare congenital anomaly

Stedman's Medical Dictionary: " lentiglobus - a rare congenital anomaly showing a prominent spheroid elevation on the posterior surface of the lens, " Reference: Sautter in Velhagen's Der Augenarzt, pages 560 and 561, v.lll - contains a photo very similar to Dr. Caccamise's photo.
