Ophthalmia nodosa

While the patient was snoozing under a banyan tree, he felt something fall on and then into one eye. He dicovered that that something was a hairy caterpillar. The photo shows classic ophthalmia nodosa. It is a nodular inflammatory reaction to the ever-penetrating caterpillar hairs.
