Martin Bodian, MD was a prominent oculoplastic surgeon in New York City during the 1950s into the 1980s. In 1957 and again in 1977, Dr. Bodian reported " a simple operation for senile spastic entropion ".The photos are of a patient whose spastic entropion was corrected through the Bodian tarsal resection procedure by Dr. Caccamise in1977. The first photo was taken a few days following surgery. The second photo was taken after the suture had been removed. Google: M. Bodian's operation for spastic entropion.
