This Caucasian female child presented with congenital ichthyosis. The lids were taut as a result of the ichthyotic involvement of the skin of the lids. A slight ectropion of each lower lid was already present. There was canthal hypertelorism. The irides were strikingly blue. The eyebrows were heavy for a female child.Ichthyosis is a complex subject with various subclassifications.
