The optical iridectomy is a part of ophthalmic history. Almost daily eye that hah had this procedure were seen in the Clinic. This photo was taken by Dr. Caccamise in 1961. The subject is covered in detail on pages 976 through 979 in Duane's Fuchs' Textbook of Ophthalmology,6th edition, 1919.
