Diagnosis: slitting of inferior canaliculus

In the modern approach to tearing problems, slitting of a canaliculus is an unintentional complication of surgery. In the photo is evidence of an intentional slitting of the inferior canaliculus. The photo was taken in 1970. The intentional slitting was carried out in 1960 in Venezuela.
