Dermatologists of India are thoroughly familiar with the skin manifestations of vitamin A deficiency. This child manifests xeroderma of her vitamin A deficiency. It is sometimes called " toad skin ". Like the ophthalmologists of India, there are no more experienced dermatologists than those of India. Dermatologic problems - many of the most bizarre nature - are rampant in village/ rural areas of India.
