Young H. Kwon, MD, PhD is the Clifford M. & Ruth M. Altermatt Professor of Ophthalmology, specializing in glaucoma in the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences at the University of Iowa and VA Medical Center. He teaches ophthalmology and glaucoma to medical students, resident and fellow physicians, and is interested in educating the public about glaucoma. He has won numerous awards including Secretariat Award and Senior Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and has been listed in Best Doctors in America.
