2024 Midwest Eye Research Symposium

Supported by an unrestricted grant from Research to Prevent Blindness to the University of Iowa Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences


Registration and Abstract submission is now open until August 1, 2024

Registration is a two-step process: First, follow the link to the right to register and submit your abstract. Then, follow the second link to pay the registration fee (credit card required). The registration fee of $25.00 includes a light breakfast and lunch.

The following is needed for abstract submission:
- Names of all authors and their affiliations
- Contact information of the first author
- Structured Abstract (Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusions).
Unfortunately, images can't be included.

 


Presentation Format
- Oral presentations will be 10-12 minutes in length; please bring your PowerPoint file on a flash drive or CD.
- Posters can have a maximal size of 3'8" x 5'6" (landscape orientation).
- Oral/Poster presentation decisions will be emailed to presenting authors within three days after registration closes.

MERS Presentation Awards
In order to recognize outstanding achievements by trainees, awards for the best oral and poster presentations will be given.
